The final of the Cork IV 2009 took place on Saturday the 5th. The four teams to reach the final were: KCL, Alaska, TCD Hist A and TCD Hist C. The motion for the final was "TTHW Emmigrate". In the end, after a riveting debate, the team from Alaska won the Cork IV 2009. As for the novice final, the winners were TCD Hist N.

Best Novice Speaker: David Byrne and Guy Miscampbell (Joint)
